Warrior Survival School provides resilience training to active military as well veterans. The curriculum is based on the book Finding Balance written by Pamela Woll, who is also an active Board member, in conjunction with the US Marine Corps and Navy Combat and Operational Stress Continuum Model. The mission is to educate service members and veterans about combat and operational stress (COS) and its long term effects. Topics discussed, include resilience, the way the body works, the impact, stress chemicals, training and ways to get the stress system in balance. The goal is to promote long term physical psychological health (PH) and well-being for service members and their families. Participants leave the Warrior Tour with a better understanding of COS its causes, symptoms and how to optimize their stress system.
